please recommend some good sites/places to get wooden toys..i would like to get ds a few for xmas this year. he will be 6 months, but wouldn't mind getting stuff he can grow into.

Plan Toys makes some beautiful stuff, and Sprig has some very cool wood/plastic composite toys. TRU carries some of both.

This is a random but a good FYI: Gap online sells wooden toys from companies such as Plan, Manhattan Toys, Sprigwood and more. When Gap has their sales or coupons, 9 times out of 10 they can be used on these brands (just got some Plan toys for DD this weekend with thier 30% off deal).
