DS was diagnosed with milk and egg allergies a few weeks ago. I've eliminated egg and milk from my diet which has made a HUGE difference. DS has been eating rice cereal with BM and fruits and veggies but still gets some contact reactions on his face and sometimes still gets a little rashy. I have been trying to figure out why he is still reacting.
So I was reading food labels at the store last night b/c I want to switch DS to oatmeal or mixed grains. By way of comparison I also read the label on the organic brown rice cereal DS has been eating for the last two months. IT HAS MILK IN IT! WTH? That may explain the "mystery" reactions he's been having.
So today we are starting the mixed grains. I am anxious to see if that solves the problem. Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone else eliminating milk from their LO's diet.

Re: Rice Cereal Has Milk in it????
You'll want to check labels for whey and casein, not just 'milk.'

I printed out milk and egg ingredient cheat sheets before heading to the store last night. DH and I both have these in our wallets now.
