Babies on the Brain

K thought he could trick me, sneaky little turd.

He brought some some weirdly orange vegetable mash to me for dinner.

I was like..."WTF is this?"

He said, "I know you're sick of vegetables.  Just try it."

So I did, and it was good.

Then he said, "It's just orange cauliflower.  But it tastes better because it's a different color, right?"

And he was right.  I'm a 4 year old child mentally. I can be tricked into eating my veggies if they are a different color.

  • Oh, that's a good one.  I'm going to have to try that on my steak and potatoes DH.  And don't feel bad, I'll eat just about anything with cheese on it, even if it's something I normally can't stand.

  • Apparently they have orange, purple, and green cauliflower now.  So I'm going to have to be on my toes with Mr.K now.

I have the purple version before as well as purple green beans.  I will admit I only bought them because they were purple!!

  • I didn't realize they came colored, I thought he just put food coloring in it.  That's cool.
