Monday, ugh. (Vent, longish)

Happy Monday everyone, hopefully mine will get better.  I made a cake for my co-workers birthday.  As I was getting into the car (running late of course) I totally dropped it on the ground.   I immediately started crying (hello hormones) and my DH picked it up and said "it's fine, you just need to fix the frosting."  I couldn't stop crying and he says "don't let a cake ruin your day".  I love him, but he has been through the pregnant wife thing twice now and doesn't he know by now a cake can ruin a pregnant lady's day??

Also, apparantly people cannot drive on Monday mornings. There was a garbage truck picking up trash, and this a-hole in a Jetta decided there wasn't enough room to pass it....you are in a Jetta!!!  Our mini-van totally could pass it and your Jetta could fit inside our minivan!!!  So, we had to follow the darn thing until we got to the intersection, stopping at every. stinkin. house.

Then, they are filming scenes for the new Clive Owen movie (yum!) in town, and we drove by a place where they were setting up to film.  Well, tried to drive by, but people decided they needed to stop in the middle of the road a stare.  Why do these things happen when I am already running late?

Anyway, sorry for the vent, I have a latte, and feeling better.  Hopefully your Monday will go smoother!

    Mmmm..Clive Owen is in town, and you are at work?!  I would absolutely call in sick!! Hopefully thoughts of Clive would be enough to brighten your day!

    Clive Owen is in town, cheer up! haha I know I know that it really won't, but its exciting to have someone so yummy so close!

    Jake Gyllenhaal is here filming a movie and is ALL over town. He even stopped in the retail store I work at while I was there and I nearly fell over! He even told me congrats on the baby! (if it wasn't a girl, i would totally see this as a sign to name her Jake)

    Do something fun for yourself today. Can you go out for lunch? maybe get something super yummy. ?

    That whole garbage truck scenario gets me pissed off even before I was pregnant!!  I would get out of my car and tell the person listen, if you don't want to pass then pull to the side and get out of my way because I will.

    I hope your monday gets better!!! I am sure your cake is still lovely Big Smile
