I had it all day yesterday and all last night. Not sure how today is going to treat me. All I know is I have to work, and teaching little kids while you're having issues with your backdoor is not a good combo!
I dont have my doctor's list in front of me, but pretty sure immodium is ok to take during pregnancy. But don't quote me on that. Make sure you drink plenty of water so you dont get dehydrated
i have had major issues with this during 2nd and 3rd tri! you can take imodium, so I would...and be sure to drink LOTS of water...I have drank my weight in water and still put in the hosp twice for IV fluids! I go to a GI doctor tomorrow to see if we can't get things figured out! the other thing I have found, because my bum gets really irriatated, are the moist wipes! They are amazing! and witch hazel pads helps sooth as well!
Good luck I hope you feel better! I know exactly what you are going through!
This is late responding, but you may want to know why you are having diarrhea before taking imodium. I am currently dealing with food poisoning and saw my OB this morning. She did not recommend imodium because with food poisoning, I need to get whatever is in my system out. She said to stay away from sugar and dairy and eat the BRAT diet for diarrhea- bananas, rice, apples, toast. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

Re: Is there anything I can do for diarrhea?
I went to India and got food poisoning in my first trimester of my first pregnancy. Thank god the doc had pre-approved immodium!
Go for it. Def. take as directed or even a little less, and make sure you stay hydrated.
