Hi ladies! We've narrowed it down to three names, and I need help deciding. Marlana will be the middle name regardless in honor of my mother. First names:
LOVE Hazel and Violet. ?Both beautiful and classic and unique. ?If I had to pick one, I think I like Hazel just a bit better. ?I think Lillian is a very pretty name, but I hate how popular it's become. ?

Violet is my favorite name for a girl right now. Beautiful and classic without being overdone! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least one little girl because I'm dying to use the name!
LOVE Hazel and Violet. Both beautiful and classic and unique. If I had to pick one, I think I like Hazel just a bit better. I think Lillian is a very pretty name, but I hate how popular it's become.
I like Violet best. Love Hazel too. Julia Roberts used that name I believe. I don't get the old lady comment. Most of the popular names today were also popular several generations ago. These names are much better than some of the made up sounding, incorrectly spelled "trendy" names I see on here.
Violet is my girl name so I obviously love that. I adore Hazel too- would have been on my short list but I encouraged my BF to use it for her DD a few years ago (she needed an H name). I like Lillian too but it's popular right now.

Are you naming a baby or an old lady? Hazel and Violet are horrible IMO, Hazel is particularly ugly.
Lily is cute, I could live with Lillian.
I love Lillian (Lily) but it is way too popular for me personally right now.
Hazel is a gorgeous name.
Violet is cute, but nms
Proud mama to a boys- 6/17/09 - a girl 2/23/11- and a boy 8/20/12
"The House We Built."
A journey of building the dream.
1. Lillian
2. Violet
3. Hazel
However, I agree that Lily is becoming way popular. If that bothers you, go with Violet or Hazel.
I love Lily but not Lillian for some reason.
Violet is REALLY pretty.
I dont get Hazel's appeal but it is definitely NMS.
This exactly.
All old ladies were babies once...

I have loved Lillian for years.
This!
Don't like Hazel at all but I do like the others.
Get with the times. ?Old is new again. Babies in my circle of friends include a Sylvia, Rose, Eleanor, Harriet, and Helen.
I'll take an old lady name over some trendy, misspelled mess of a name any day.?

Because of the middle name, I totally vote Lillian! ?(not Lily, unless its a nick that comes from Lillian)
?It flows so nicely phonetically... ?I think it's absolutely gorgeous!?
definitely this.
