TTC after 35

Triggered at Game, ER Tomorrow AM

So, in the third quarter of the UGA/AU game, DH and I went into the Family Restroom (with a sink! yeah!) and triggered.  DH can't wait to tell the potential kid(s), 'so I gave your mom a shot in the butt in Sanford Stadium during the UGA/AU game and that's how you got here.'  It's especially poignant given that I went to UGA and he went to AU, so this is 'our' game.

I guess you have to find romance where you can in this process . . . :)  The nurse said, 'well they've been given in stranger places.'  I can't imagine where!

So ER tomorrow at 9:30 ET.  Need EGGS!!

  • That's funny!

I have had a wee crush on YH ever since you shared that comment about the thongs on the conveyor belt.

Come to think of it, tell me again, I forget exactly what he said!

Oh he's full of fun observations!  Something like "nothing effs up a conveyer belt like a thong."  Apparently they get caught in them pretty easily.

He always keeps me rolling.  He grew up in a small town called Wetumpka.  The night we met he said, "It's Indian for Walmart."

  • Good luck, good luck and good luck!

  • I love this story!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to work for you - such good karma.

My H gave me my first shot for my first IVF in a parking lot.  I had taken a couple of customers to dinner and snuck outside for H to shoot me up.  It felt like I was sneaking outside for a drug fix.  Kinda felt a little like a bad girl!  I kinda liked that!

Good luck tomorrow!  Please post after and let us know how many they got.  I will be praying for you.

  • Great story!  And congrats on the dawgs' win, btw.  I'm actually from Athens & went to UGA too, so I've spent a fair bit of time in Sanford Stadium.  I hope this'll be the lucky shot for you.

  • Lol! That'll be a great story for the future kid (or kids)! Good luck tomorrow!!!

  • LOL!

    Good luck Fran!!!!

Wasn't your DH the one that came out with his shirt buttoned up wrong after his SA?  That story is the one that cracked me up.

  • Thanks for the good laugh right now. Love that story. I'm sure the kids will be "mortified" and love it at the same time. How fun.
