So I was reading in Baby Bargains that you should never share a Medela breast pump. My question is if you get all new parts what is the difference from sharing one to renting one? There are places around me that rent them out - aren't they just replacing the parts for each rental?
Re: Breast Pump Question
This is what I've heard too ... but I don't know ...
Ditto. The price sucks, but if you're really going to pump, then it's worth it. I've heard from lots of other women, though, that you really should just rent at first to make sure you don't give up on pumping right away--you'd hate to spend the $300 and then be stuck with a pump you don't use and can't easily get rid of since many don't purchase off strangers.
Have you ever actually used one of these? The milk doesn't even go in the tubes, it goes from breast to bottle.
