In the hospital with DD

She has complications from the flu. She was completely lethargic and had labored breathing yesterday so the pedi sent us to the ER. This will be night two here. She's not as lethargic but still is having breathing issues. They say another day or two and she'll improve. Effing flu...

  • Good grief Sweety!!!  I hope she is going to be okay.  Being in hospital with your child is never a fun experience.

  • Emerson had the swine flue about five weeks ago and it's still ongoing.  The secondary infections are what get them.  She was on steriods from croupe last week.

    GL Lucky....the good news is that you guys are where you need to be and are being taken care of properly.  Keep us posted.

  • Oh man!! I'm so sorry to hear this! DD was hospitalized 5 wks ago, too... what an experience! She was better by day #3 and was sent home much better off, though. Good luck!
  • Oh, I'm so sorry!  That has to be scary for you and DH.  Lots of thoughts and prayers your way for a speedy recovery!
