...says he'll change the cat litter and then I find it completely full of poop two days later
...yells at me for back-seat driving when I alert him to the fact that he is about to run a red light! (he really would have run it if I didn't tell him to stop)
...puts his dirty clothes on the ground right next to the hamper instead of in the hamper
Just for fun, what does your DH do that drives you crazy?
Re: It drives me CRAZY when DH...
....doesn't wipe out the sink when he gets done using it
....wears his light blue shirt with his dark blue pants to church
SO much more that I can't think right now. LOL

...takes something to drink out of the fridge (soda liter, pitcher of juice, etc) fills his glass and then LEAVES it out on the counter! I always go "H are you done with this?" and he goes "well Im gonna get a refill!" GOD FORBID YOU TAKE 1 STEP TO THE RIGHT TO GET IT BACK OUT OF THE FRIDGE!!!
...drives. Almost everytime. I swear he only has ADD when he gets behind the wheel. He has to look at every car that passes by him, and when he talks to me he feels he has to look at me instead of the road! I actually pointed it out to him the other day and even HE agreed! Im trying to find some kind of blinders he can wear when he drives...
...uses the toothpaste and doesnt close the cap. for some reason that drives me nuts!!
clicks his nails...he just sits on the couch and does it and it drives me NUTS.
when he rolls over in bed so his back is to me and lets out a HUGE farts.
when he gets in bed after a night out at the bars without taking a shower...i cant stand when my bed smells like smoke! i have to change my sheets right away in the morning.
gets all pissed off and wont talk if the Colts are losing.
and best of all--when he picks his nose in the car. it's awesome.
I do have to say, he has really stepped up this week after my lapro and cooked(food that mom had made and frozen for him to 'cook'), cleaned and took care of me and the dogs without me having to ask. I fully expect him to go back to leaving the dishes out and being a slob any day now...
Seriously, how fricken hard is it to put it back in the damn fridge??!
SERIOUSLY!!! It makes me want to pull my hair out strand by strand! And I have a lot of hair!!!
Whats nastyto me, is that by the time he would get up to get another refill...said liquid would be warm...and thats just gross. (But this is my H who can also drink canned soda practically HOT.)
BARF.
...chews his food with his mouth open and does these weird jaw things after he swallows.
...takes the entire bag of chips with him to work for lunch. I buy sandwich baggies for a reason.
...makes this awful throat-clearing sound and says he can't help it. No one needs to make that disgusting throat sound and if you do need to clear it, cough damnit!!!
...grows out a goatee and doesn't shave it evenly on both sides. His mom calls it "pusss hair." Oy.
Yes!! Now, what my Dh does is get ice...and leaves the Ice tray out...even if there is still ice in the tray!!! ahhhhhhhhhh that even worse than leaving the juice, water, etc. out in the first place!
kdodge is your DH related to my DH? My DH does the same things. In our case the cats like me more, which makes him really sad. He whines about it quite often, and doesn't seem to think it's because I feed them. Hello??

... says that it only takes him 10 minutes to get ready, but it really take 35, and then we end up late (we are always late unless I tell him we have to leave 40 minutes earlier than we really have to.
... leaves his dishes in the sink even when the dishwasher is empty.
... keeps shoving trash into the trash can so that when I open the trash cupboard door, it spills all over my feet...
... does not wipe off the kitchen counter, or when he does clean it, he will wipe one and not the other 3!
... uses the last of the toilet paper except for one sheet, and claims that he doesn't have to replace the roll unless it is empty.
... gets all pissy when I mention any of these things to him and says that I am not his mom and he does not want to be nagged!
I love that man like crazy, but sometimes he makes me want to pull my hair out... but when he sees that it actually makes me mad, he usually finds some way to make me laugh, and that drives me crazy too, because I cannot stay mad!
HE JUST FLICKED A BOOGER ON THE FLOOR!

looks like someone just made a date with the vacuum!
....leaves all his empty water bottles on the kitchen counter piling up until there are 7 or 8 before he cleans them & refills them & puts them in the fridge. How hard is it to do this each night with just one instead of making a big mess?
...leaves all the cardboard, metal, and plastic recycling on the counter like it will magically make its way to the recycle bin (which it usually does because I get irritated and put it up).
...when visiting people he leaves his dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom like we are in a hotel or something. How hard is it to collect the dirty towels and put them on the person's washer?
Many more...but I'm blanking right now.
Gross! Are you going to make him do it?
Carina 12.28.2010 | Aurelia 9.23.12 | Chart - Round 3
Hell yes I am!
-He shaves only once a week, so he looks sloppy for about 5 days of the week.
-Can't throw away/donate anything because he always thinks he will find a use for it.
-Picks at his ears while I'm eating (he does it other times too, but it only bothers me when I'm eating).
-He used to clip his toe nails/ finger nails and leave them on our front room floor, but I put a stop to that really quick.
-leaves his empty cans out on the coffee table or on the counter instead of putting them with the recycling - also leaves dirty dishes out on the counter
-leaves his dirty clothes all over the floor
-never does the laundry
that's all i can think of for now
DH knows it makes me nuts when we are late for things, but he still saves getting ready or whatever he needs to do before we go somewhere until the very last possible second. So, most of the time we are late. UGH
--he has TMJ so when he chews it makes all this loud popping racket and drives me nuts!
--overflowing the trash can and not taking it out
--he bites his nails and chews on them, its totally gross. He's gotten better about it b/c I always make him stop as soon as he starts..maybe he'll break this habit soon.

--doesn't have time to clean the house but has time to deer hunt
--changes the TV channel to football right in the middle of my favorite show
--sleeps through his alarm clock so I literally have to DRAG him out of bed for work!
But I love him anyway
Yea, this is fun.
It drives me crazy when:
DH puts his dirty dishes on the kitchen counter instead of the sink.
DH doesn't rinse out his cereal bowls and then when I go to do dishes the leftover cereal is cemented to the bottom of the bowl.
DH takes of his socks while watching TV and leaves them on the family room floor.
DH complains that I wash our bed sheets too much or that I am obsessive about house cleaning. It's called cleanliness - not obsessive.
I clean the whole house and a day later it looks like a tornado hit it.
He fills the dishwasher or dryer and forgets to turn it on.
But worse of all...he can't do his own laundry. He will go like 2 weeks (if i'm gone) wearing the same clothes!
Leaves his damn dip cups everywhere.
Leaks on the !#$%@#$% bathroom floor so i step in it.
My DH is also horrible about not putting anything in the dishwasher. He lets it all pile up at the sink.
