I had a c-section and was thinking about a VBAC if I have a second baby but I am afraid of the chance of my uterus rupturing. Anyone have a successful VBAC? Any thoughts are appreciated.
This is my first pregnancy so I am no help. However, a friend of mine had a successful VBAC about a month ago. She was worried too and it went great! Good luck to you!

Mt. Auburn is known for specializing in VBACs - try them. My OB is Beth Hardiman, but she's hard to get in with unless you call early on - as soon as you find out you're pregnant. I believe you can also use the midwives' group there for VBACs, and they are very highly regarded as well.
I had VBAC and hated it. 'Delivering' wasn't a magical experience for me and the recovery was about the same just in a worse location. I will be having a c-section with #3...
My daughter was a c-section because she was breech my son was a vag. birth. For baby #3 I have the option of VBACing or scheduling a c-section since her being breech was the only reason for the section. If it had been an emergency section because of complications my likelihood of VBACing would decrease. So it really depends on you and what your situation was.
That being said, I am scheduling a c-section for baby #3!
Re: VBAC
You might want to talk to the women at the Massachusetts ICAN - they'll have lots of info and resources for you.

Good luck either way.
