Because I really think they are so sweet to each other and seem very genuine. Well, they are. But...I watched a Q&A episode and they don't allow their children to dance. Basically because when girls shake their thing boys can't control themselves.
Yes, Duggars. You deserve a side-eye for not allowing your children to express themselves through movement and music that is completely natural and innate. ![]()
You also deserve this again:

Re: Duggars: Remember when I felt bad for mocking them?
Have you see Jesus Camp? There was a girl on there about 10 who liked to dance but had to be aware of whether or not she was "dancing for the flesh" vs. dancing for Jesus.
That gets a huge
Yeh I gotta cut loose footloose kick off my Sunday shoes....
that's all that made me think of lol
I love the Duggars...I do...but I can't wait for the day when one of their children grow up and goes WILD!!!! I really can't wait. Because out of 19 children, one of them is bound to taste the FREEDOM and go bonkers in Vegas or Mexico or someplace. And one of them is bound to write a tell-all book of what it was really like to live in the house!
And, I think it is weird that the boys are not allowed to wear shorts because of something they read in the bible. Huh?
They are special little snowflakes.
This movie scared me. For real.
I've already predicted that Jennifer will escape. She's the little one who has a nuk in her mouth all the time. She's a firecracker.
Yeah, they're not even allowed to dance around each other? Are they afraid that other family members will get turned on?
I love it that the older girls cover the little boys' eyes when they see a scantily clad woman walk by. I wonder how the women feel.
I'm so sorry for you... T&P

I went to a church for a while (in high school, all my friends were going) and that religion didn't allow dancing.
But the youth pastor used to DJ dances for the public school all the time.
And there was this huge talent contest (country wide) that was held by the church and the church's colleges. And everyone wanted a dance category, but instead they called it "creative movement," which was basically dancing. Lots of girls in skimpy ballerina clothes writhing around... It didn't make any sense to me.
