Success after IF

i can't take this not-sleeping baby anymore

this is the second night that she has woken up within an hour of being put down and being sound asleep.  she was smiling and laughing initially and now she's screaming.  DH is with her, i turned off the monitor so i wasn't spying, and i can hear her yelling from the kitchen downstairs with the dishwasher and dryer on.

should i just offer some tylenol? i don't know what to do but we are all going nuts.  i want to cry.

  • Tylenol can't hurt, espicially if she is teething. I am sorry you are going through this. We had nights like that at least once a week until Brady was 10 months old! But then it was like something clicked and he sleeps great now. Good luck! I hope she goes back to sleep for you.
  • How frustrating.  :(  It definitely can't hurt to try tylenol if she might be teething.  I actually think motrin works better for teething if you have any around!

  • I'm so sorry.  Sleep issues are so frustrating!  I would try some Tylenol.  It certainly can't hurt.

  • I'm sorry.

We give Motrin more often than I care to admit (whenever there's a random issue we can't figure out) and it usually helps.  Give it a shot.

    Hang in there.

  • I would definitely be giving her a dose of Tylenol.  When in doubt - get the drugs out!  OK that's awful.  But effective!

  • I must admit I used motrin fairly often during the 6-9 month period.  When in doubt motrin/tylenol can't hurt.
