TIA. The main reason I am asking is b/c my LO has feeding issues and she does not drink any formula from a bottle/cup. She has a total aversion to formula (It's a long story). We have to sneak formula into purees, which is hard and not tasty. We work with feeding specialists, but this situation is not easy. Just looking for tips.
Re: What's UR TOOTHLESS 8-9-10 Month Old Eating?
softened fruits and veggies.
I will cut a banana in half and just let him hold it and gum it. Or I steam an apple, cut into big enough slices so he can't choke and let him hold it and feed it to himself.
Gah. Is it really so hard just to write "your" when you're already going to the trouble of writing "toothless"?
My kids ate some purees, but mostly very small finger foods.
peas, cooked carrots, bananas, mac n cheese, scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, biscuits..... there's a lot more but I'm blanking right now. As long as it's small pieces they can gum almost anything. Even after they get teeth they don't really use them for a while until they really learn to chew in a couple years.
oh yeah, toast with cream cheese, pancakes, waffles, grilled cheese, quesadilla, eggs, rotiserie chicken, beans, lunch meat turkey
Puffs, cherrios, yogurt, oatmeal,
I also use spices: Pepper, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder
