  One of my dear friends from HS was in China as a missionary with her parents for a long time. And while I don't know them directly, most of the missionaries associated with the churches I grew up in had children. I think if you feel called, it means the Lord will provide the way and the means. Good for you!

  There are some families at my church who have done it. but none that I am really close to.

  All I know is that if God is calling your husband to do it, God is going to find a way for it all to happen.  I know it's so hard to do, but I would just put it all in God's hands and know that the logistics are all going to work out.

  Where are you guys thinking about going?

  Part of me keeps hoping that God would call DH or I to become missionaries.  I think the idea of moving to some far off place, getting rid of all of our belongings and doing God's work sounds so exciting to me.  But he hasn't done it yet.

  I knew a girl in HS who's parents were missionaries.  She spent a large portion of her childhood in Africa.  When things started to get a bit dangerous where they were (I can't remember what country - it's been so long, sorry) they decided to stay and send the kids back to the US.  I met her in boarding school.  She was only there 2 years and then rejoined with her family in Africa.  I guess the polical environment was stable enough that her parents felt it was safe for her to be with them again.  Anyway, she always talked about how cool it was to be able to travel the world with her family.
