s/o speaking of baby shoes...

do your LO's wear them?

Mine are 3 months & I own no shoes for them except a pair of red mary janes for DD that my mom bought to go w/ her xmas outfit. Am I alone here? They have those cute socks that look like sneakers/ballet slippers that I have them in a lot of the time, I just can't get into the shoes for them even though I think they look so cute...

  • I think I got Miles' first pair of shoes around 4 months old.  I got him a pair of Pedipeds and it was really just to help keep his feet warm more than anything.  :-)

  • I had one pair of cute Robeez 0-6 month size but at this age they are purely for show.  we did not actively start making DS wear shoes til he was close to a year and was actively cruising.

  • DD does, DS wears the robeez type shoes now that he is 'walking' some.

They really don't need shoes until they are walking outdoors.

  • My DDs only started wearing shoes (well, Robeez) when it started getting chillier this fall, but it's mainly because they have started pulling up so I think they give a little more traction than socks alone.  Not to mention one DD would pull her socks off if she didn't have shoes on!  I was given 2 pairs of 0-6 month shoes and they are only getting use because one DD is still a peanut and can wear them now (I think my other DD wore one pair once in the spring).
