My 1 Year Old is Gay!

That is what an annonymous commenter on my blog said.  I posted about how my 1 year old loves to carry my chapstick around.  I find it cute.  He/she wrote, "What does that tell you?!...Your son likes to play with cosmetics!  I hope you have an open mind!"  SERIOUSLY??? 

 I had just turned comment moderation on so someone must have been tellilng me something!  I regected this post obviously.  It makes me furious.  I will love my son for whoever he is because my love for him is unconditional.  What pissed me off is to suggest that because he carries my chapstick he is gay!  My first thought was, "he also plays with a toy knife and gun...does that mean he will be a murderer?"  Some people....

Praying this little one sticks!

    My 1 Year Old is a Cross Dresser!

    I was so proud of him.  Tonight he put on and took off a piece of clothing all by himself.  It was, however, a red sports bra of mine. 

    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

    It sounds like a lame attempt at being funny.

    My DH is a Chapstick fiend. ?He can NOT be without it and he Sharpies the bottom of his so I can't steal his tubes. ?

    WHAT???  People are crazy.  I guess I better be prepared since my son likes to take my makeup brushes and copy me while I put on my makeup.  He also puts my headbands on his head because he thinks it's funny.

    Just blow it off.

    The comment was dumb, but suggesting that your son is a homosexual is not really that offensive or horrible.  And your comparison to a murderer made my eyes open wide.

    mine too. my H used to wear guyliner on very rare occasions too Embarrassed mostly when we were being funny at the bar
