If another child hit your dc

Would you expect the other mother to apologize or at least acknowledge it?

ETA: It was a 4 yo in line in front of us, he swatted at dd for no apparent reason, the mom told him to stop and then just walked away. I guess I kind of expected her to at least ask if she was ok, especially since they are strangers and it was a baby he hit.

    Yes, bc if it was my LO that hit another I would tell her no and apologize for her if she is still too young to get it.

    Are you talking about right now at this age? I would not expect it because normally at this age is a baby hits another baby they are doing it because they are learning not meaning to do harm.

    I would make my 4 yo say sorry, then myself. But thats just me and I happen to believe in manners.

    She just put in the edited part. I think everyone in this post has manners.  I would make a 4 year old say sorry but the way she posted this it seemed like it was another baby
