Hands Free Pumping Bra???

Has anyone used one of these?  Would you recommend it?  Which brand?

I have a Medula Pump in Style Double Electric Pump.

Thanks!

Re: Hands Free Pumping Bra???

  • I love the Easy Expressions Hands Free Bustier (google it).  I ordered it from diapers.com and got free shipping.  For sizing help, I wore a 34H bra and bought a Large and it fit perfectly.  It worked wonderfully with my Medela PISA.

  • I don't mean to be snarky or anything I swear ... but what do you do that you need to be hands free while pumping ? Just wondering, I mean maybe I am missing something I can/should be doing during this time. (albeit I pump mostly at work and wouldn't consider actually working while pumping)
  • I have to say, I have the hands-free bustier as well, and it is amazing.  :)  Don't know what I'd do without it.

I am a working momma, so I take conference calls and catch up on e-mails while pumping.  I also check the web too (what I'm doing now), so not having to hold the bottles on and having free hands is awesome.

  • I just bought the Simple Wishes hands free pumping bra from Motherhood since I had a gift card. It was $38 but I think you can find it online for less. There are lots of other ones online too.

I love it it. I'm using it right now. It makes the time go by so much faster, I can go online, read a book, eat, drink etc. I recommend getting one!

  • I just took an old sports bra and cut holes in it.  I have a Medela PISA and it works just fine.

I bought a hands free pumping bra because I exclusively pumped. Pumping several times a day and having to take care of DD while pumping was hard. It was much easier to have my hands free in case DD needed to be held. Plus I could multi-task while pumping.

  • Thanks for all the advice.  I need to pump before work and if I could put makeup on while I am pumping I could save some time.  Thanks!

LOL! I like to just be able to change the channel!! I also got some work done today while pumping & will probably have to do so when I go back to my office job!

To answer original poster--I cut two holes in my beband and just put it on as a tube top! Works wonders & it's not like I needed it anymore!

  • definitely get one, it's so nice not to hold them in place and you can pick up your LO's.

THIS! I did the same with an old bra and it works like a charm!

    This! Works GREAT.

And as far as what else I have to do while pumping, I'd rather do ANYTHING besides sit there idly holding bottles on my boobs for 20 minutes.
