Hi Margie. I'm also pregnant and living in Beverly (in Beverly Farms actually). I also see Dr. Stacy Veitch at Essex County OB/GYN and I've been really pleased with their practice so far!
Like the other reply, I've also been taking Prenatal Yoga at North Shore Yoga since I was about 8 weeks pregnant (I'm currently 24 weeks). The prenatal class is wonderful. Have you tried it yet? We may have met if you did! I try to go every Monday. Marnie is currently out on maternity leave but the teacher who is covering for her is also wonderful.
Let me know if you have any other questions about resources in the Beverly area. How far along are you?
I'm looking to meet other moms-to-be up on the North Shore since we are fairly new to the area. Let me know if you do end up trying the yoga class or if you ever want to get together for coffee or anything!
I havent taken the class yet but am thinking of starting soon. I am only 7 weeks and will likely start when we get back from vacation first week in november..I also just found out one of my good friends is newly pregnant too and she's going to come with...
I will likely see you there soon and I would also love to meet for coffee sometime.. let me know when is good for you.
I've taken yoga with Marnie before, not the prenatal class, but she's awesome. I think I'm going to go to a place in Andover for prenatal yoga, though, just because my work schedule doesn't really mesh with NSY's prenatal class. I've heard really good things about this other place.
I'm using Essex County OB-GYN, too. A lot of my friends and coworkers use/have used them, and have good things to say about all the docs. I think I'll probably end up using Dr Steece as my primary OB.
