PLEASE HELP...HITTING!!!

There is a child at my daughter's preschool that will constantly hit her.  (I watched him walk up to her 3 times this morning and hit her in the face.)  My daughter has now started picking this up!  She has been doing it to kids now and her teachers have said it's becoming a "concern."  My husband and I have been trying so hard to break this habit but don't know what else to do!  We've asked them to keep my daughter and this other child separated, but it doesn't work.  What would you do?  They just tell us that they have a "sibling relationship."  My daughter is our first and only so far...she's not getting it at home!  HELP!!!!!

    My DD is home with me all day everyday and she has started hitting me. I don't know where they learn it. I don't know what to do either. I keep taking her hand and telling her to be gentle to mommy and I stroke my face with her hand. Good luck!

    I may get flamed, but Mattie hits DH and I when she gets mad.  We say "No Hit" and sit her down in time out for a minute. It has helped some....
