Pregnant after 35
2nd Beta and feeling a little better
Just got back my 2nd beta number, 532. I was 63 last Friday, last Friday. I think that is about where I should be if I am calculating correctly. I'm just going to assume it is and be optimistic.
Dr. seemed pleased and i'll have my first u/s next Thur..I'll be 5w 2d then so I'm not sure we'll see anything yet. I feel better for now!

No wonder your first number was low. You are so early. I was the same way. I was in my OB's office on CD 26 for a pregnancy test. He was like, "You aren't even late yet. What are you doing here." Technically, I was late since my cycles were every 25-26 days. I had already PO2S's at home that were both positive and then the one there came up negative.... then 'oh so barely' positive. Early, early!
Don't be disappointed if you don't see anything at your first u/s. I had my first at 5 weeks / 3 days and saw only a gestational sac. My next was two weeks later at 7 weeks / 3 days and that's when we saw a little peanut with a heartbeat.
That's great. I meant to reply to your post the other day and didn't get a chance. I don't know why they told you 63 was low, at 16 DPOs my beta was 132- my dr was happy and you can see by my ticker how well that worked out.
Good luck on your u/s. 5w2d is very early to see anything. I refused to have one before 6.5 weeks because I didn't want to hear "It might just be too early".
