Who is TTC #2?

Is it less stressful for you this time around? I was crazy when it came to trying to get PG with DS. I was so impatient, crazy, and dying to get PG. This time around since I have DS, it's a good distraction so I don't feel as stressed. Do you feel the same or are you just as anxious? Just curious!

    I'm more anxious this time! It was the opposite for us from you.  After we got married, we didn't do anything to prevent, but I wasn't doing anything to time it correctly either.  It took almost a year to get pg w/ him that way.  I never stressed about it b/c we weren't really "planning" it.  This time, I am trying to plan it. I obsessed over whether I ovulated or not, stress over what may or may not be symptoms.  I wish it could be like last time!!

    Me.  We're having issues getting pregnant again so, it's pretty trying at times.

    More stressful.  I just found out I have a clotting disorder so it's been a lot of stop and go, lab work and waiting, etc.  It's not anything overly dreadful, as it turns out, I am just possibly the most impatient person in the world!  Having to drop out of TTC for two months to wait on lab results drove me bonkers.

    We started a few months ago, and I am way more stressed this time.  Last time it took 3 months, we're working on month #4 and I am way more impatient and worried about everything. I can't talk to my DH about it because it stresses him out and then nothing happens at all! :-(

    way more stressful for me.  This time I am over 30 and feel so much pressure.  Plus my body is out of whack since I am still nursing so I have no idea if I am even fertile or not.  We have been trying for 6 months and I am about to just give up for a while.

    Just as stressed.  I try to be low key and then I start obsessing.  But with DD it happened the 2nd month we tried.   We were in the not preventing camp for most of this year and since that didn't work we are trying harder.  Off to go get my thermometer to temp this cycle.  Once you start thiking about oh if I get pregnant this month the baby will be born this month - it is hard not to obsess.  GL

    More stressful/anxious, the first time around we got pregnant right away (we thought it would take awhile so we just went with it) and got pregnant cycle 1. We are now on cycle 4 and I feel like it's all I think about and everyone around me is pregnant which makes me more anxious. Sigh

    Not yet, but I am already stressing about it.

    Colin was a "surprise", so we weren't actively trying.  It was perfect. LOL   No stress there!

    Now I want to TTC in 6 months and am stressing since I still have not had my first PP and Colin is still nursing.  I think the most stressful part is that we didn't have to worry about it the first time.

    I wouldn't say I'm stressed as much as obsessed. It took us 18 months the first time around, so anything faster than that will be good for me :) My cycle seems to have straightened itself out since DS was born so I can't help but hope it will happen faster this time. So I just stare at my chart every day, thinking it will tell me something magical. I'm always thinking about potential due dates, etc.

    more stressful!  We got married and stop using protection.  I got PG the first month.  I've never had to"try" before.  I am a maid of honor next aug and we were trying to get pg before the wedding. I don't know if that added stress made us not conceive yet or what.  Looks likes I will be pg now for the wedding--well hopefully.

    DS was a surprise after missing a few bcp's.  So there was no stress there. 

    We are moving on to month #3 since I got my MIrena out.  We avoided trying this month because BIL gets married in the middle of July and I didn't want to be due that close since DS came 2 weeks early.  So we are aiming for December or January to be the month!  Not knowing when it will happen is a little stressful.
