Recc for baby shower location - Southbay or L.A.

hi...

 i need a recommendation for a baby shower location, preferably in the southbay area (torrance, carson, beach cities) but the greater los angeles area we will definitely consider (we have family/friends all over).

looking to accomodate at least 50 ppl. everything else is pretty negotiable. any ideas are welcomed. we need to secure a spot ASAP.  thank you!!!

    How about 26 Beach on Washington in Venice?   That seems to be a popular place for showers.

    The Japanese Garden at the Torrance Cultural Center would be really pretty.

    Averill Park in San Pedro, but I don't think the picnic tables are covered, so that could be iffy... 

    You might want to look at private rooms at popular restaurants, el torito, mimi's cafe, marie calendar.
