He is in the ICU right now, I don't have anymore info on the severity of it or anything but we could use your prayers right now. Thank goodness my sister is going to be able to watch DD next week (c/s is monday) my mom was going to watch her. Anyway please pray for my dad and family

Sorry to hear that. I think have many strokes does usually end with having a major stroke. He was at the hospital right, atleast he was being monitored.

im so sorry to hear that. keep your hopes up though.... my mom had a stroke and has recovered fully!!!! the only sign of her stroke is that the very tips of two of her fingers tingle all the time.

Positive thoughts and prayers on the way to you and your family. My Dad suffered a hemorrhagic stroke 5 years ago. It was tough the first few months for him. Luckily he only had to stay at the hospital for a little over a week and was able to go home to complete rehab. At first my Dad's speech, memory and movement on right side was affected. Each day as the swelling was going down and blood was being reabsorbed in his brain, he would regain some abilities back. He was able to go back to work a year later. He has changed though - his personality is different and he can't control his emotions sometimes but he's doing great. PM if you want to talk. I know what you're going through - when I got call from my Mom, it was like my world came crashing down. I hope your Dad makes a full recovery.
