Anyone have a Quinny stroller? Opinons?

I got a hand me down of a Quinny Buzz 4, along with the car seat and bassinet. Does anyone have this or any positive or negative things to say about it?

  • There was a nestie on the Austin baby Board Talking about those today. Said she loved both the buzz and the zapp.

  • I have a Buzz 4 and also a Zapp. I love the Buzz 4 but rarely use it since I keep the Zapp in my car and use it in conjunction with the Maxi Cosi infant carrier. Once DS outgrows the infant carrier I'm sure I'll use the Buzz 4 more but honestly I have a small car and it takes up my whole trunk. If you have a bigger vehicle it would not be an issue. I love that it unfolds itself.
  • I bought a Buzz for DS 2 so I haven't used it very much but I will say the two times I've used it with DS 1 I hated it. First of all, it doesn't have a cup holder (has to be bought separately), it won't stay folded when I try to put in the back of my car, and when folded it's huge and takes up most of my trunk. Also the seat part seems small for my 18 month old so I don't think it's suitable for children older than 1. I have a Peg Perego P3 I used and still use and IMO it is SO much better than the Buzz. It folds very compactly and is still roomy for my toddler. The only thing I didn't like about the P3 is that the infant car seat is very heavy!!!

We tried out both of these models with our toddler sitting in them and they seemed way too small for children over 1 or 18 months or so. This was when he was about 2 1/2, but he fits in most other strollers fine and is normal size, just these strollers seem to be a better fit for smaller babies. Also, I know one of them doesn't even have a basket or any kind of storage underneath which was a huge no-no for us....I definitely need a basket or some type of storage on any stroller we use on a regular basis.
