My RE sticks to his guns...

I posted yesterday about my "speech" I had prepared to go with more mature follies this IUI (up to 3).  My E2 was 367 yesterday, with a 15, 12, and 3-4 11's.  I asked to go 2 more nights on gonal f.

The nurse said my RE FREAKED.  And then asked if I was trying to get my own tv show.  He gave me one more night of injects, so my IUI will be Sat.

Did I mention I have a mandatory overnight work retreat Fri-Sat?  Yeah, so I just had to let the coordinator know I'd be missing Sat for a "medical procedure."  I figured I should let someone know.  Most people will probably assume I had too much to drink on Friday and didn't make it up Sat morning.

After typing that out, I realize how bad it sounds.  But it's fairly par for the course at my firm.  Lawyers like to drink.

    I'm glad you're getting another night of injects to mature the follicles.  Sounds perfect.

    Well, at least he met you in the middle. 

    And, my co-workers would have assumed that same about me if I missed a day of activities after a night of drinking.....

    Ahhhh, the law firm retreat where they try to disguise work as fun.  Sorry the timing is crappy but GL on Saturday.

    I'm glad I get one more night.  I really didn't think he would let me go two, but I figured if I asked for it, he'd give me something.

    And lol at me trying to direct my medical care.  What medical school did I go to?

    You went to the same medical school we all went to IFU. Where you learn more than you ever wanted to know about "where do babies come from"....
    3 yrs ttc, 3ivfs, 4 iuis and finally a baby boy! And then a girl to follow. 2 under 2!
