I know a girl at work who just got married about 2 months ago.

Backstory on her: She is a good, Christian girl who married the only guy she's ever really kissed. She's almost 30 and went from her parents' house to her husband's.(I'm not judging b/c I like to think of myself as a good girl too, just giving her back story)

Another person at work asked her, "How you liking married life?" She answered, "I really like having my own kitchen to cook in". Hmmmm.... Is it just me or is that an odd answer.

    if she's so "good" she probably isn't going to say "we've been boning like rabbits and its FAB"

    I don't think that's odd. Maybe I am reading it wrong. She is happy to be out of her parents' house and have her own space.

    I don't think it is odd.  What did you want her to say?  Like you said, she doesn't have much of a personality.

    lOL! No, I don't expect her to talk about sex.  I never did when people asked me. I went from my parents' house to my DH's, but I used to answer. "I really like it" or "It's going great". I just found answering about her kitchen and nothing else to be odd to me. But, everyone's perspective is different, which is why I asked for thoughts.

    Maybe she just doesn't like being married yet. I know people who have gone straight from their parents' house to their own house after getting married and had a bit of a tough adjustment period. They eventually made a nice transition to married life. Living with her parents for 30 years and then moving out could be a little rough on her.

    That's probably true. Her and her DH have only been together for a little over a year, which means more of an adjustment to living together. My DH and I were together 5 yrs. before marriage, so to me it was a culmination of our relationship that felt extremely natural. Thanks!
