Confess or hide the evidence?

I broke DH's favorite ornament for the second year in a row.
We were in Alaska & he got the bobble head moose ornament (which is cute really it is) Last year somehow it got broken he took it to work had someone fix it & even make a new antler. 
This year I put it on the mantle so it would be safe from DS until we hang the ornaments & tonight I broke it again :OI
 
I was straightening the garland across the mantle & did not even notice it there, now it is in about 5 pieces 

He is gonna be so mad (not like violent mad or anything, just like little kid who just had his favorite toy broken)
 
I think at this point he is going to start thinking I Am doing it on purpose when I am not.
Who knows maybe this will be a funny tradition, maybe I will end up breaking the poor thing for the next 50 years.
 
Maybe when we are old & gray it will be a hideous glued together mess hanging on our tree

    I'd confess and apologize.  Tell him you promise not to break it every year.  I wonder if you would be able to get the store to send you another one for him?  You could give it to him at Christmas.

    I have NO IDEA what store we bought it at & I know that the sentiment would be lost in a replacement. 

    Yes Yes I am decorated & I even had a boy that works for us putting up lights on our house yesterday (we don't turn them on until day after T-day)
    Crazy, I know but life here gets hectic in four days & does not slow down until December 26th .. so if I do not do it now it will not get done.

    I would have to confess... and I always start my confessions out with, "I did something really bad today.." or "You're going to be so mad at me..." in my saddest sweetest voice. It usually helps if he thinks I already feel bad about it. I use this for spending money as well, lol.
