Hi ladies,
My doctor, Dr. Daneshmand, has founded a non-profit organization called Miracle Babies that helps premature babies in the NICU and their families. What he is doing is truly amazing, and it all comes from his heart. He's awesome, not only as a doctor, but as a person. I am so fortunate to have him as my doctor and consider him a friend as well.
He is organizing a walk on November 15th and I wanted to pass the information along to those who might be interested. I am on bed rest right now, but will try to make it out there for a bit if I am feeling okay.
Thanks for reading.
I hope everyone is doing well!
Re: Miracle Babies
thanks for posting this. we, luckily, only had 2wks nicu stay with our girls... we saw so many babies/families in there for a LONG time, dealing with very premature birth, and other complications. i still think about all those little fighters. the people (staff and volunteers) involved in nicu care are amazing.
yay for you having him as a doctor. i saw something on tv recently about this, and noted the walk coming up this sunday. i also may not make it - we are at the mercy of nap schedules right now... trying desperately to make some order in life
hope the event is a big success!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
