Update on my post m/c appt.

I went for my appt. yesterday and luckily, the doctor said it looked like I had passed everything.  My bleeding is barely there today, so hopefully, it will stop soon.  I haven't had any cramps for two days either!  She said I should get a period in 4-6 weeks and that we can try after that.  I think I am ready to try again, but DH wants to wait because he doesn't want a fall/winter baby.  Summer would be best (I'm a teacher), but as I have learned, planning doesn't always work out the best.  This baby was supposed to be born in June :(

    I'm glad everything is progressing the way it is.  I will get on my soap box and tell you that you are incredibly fertile after that first af.  I got pregnant with Emerson right off the bat after a m/c. 

    I told this exact same thing to Punk and look at her.  If you try after that first period, I can almost promise you that you'll get pregnant.  It happens so often I can't even tell you.

    I'm sorry you've had to deal with this side of pregnancy but, I also wish you luck!  : )

    I'm sorry again for your loss :(

    I, too, tried to *plan* for a certain time of year (spring- baby was due in March) but it didn't quite work out like I was expecting.

    Momma to three boys: Henry - 4yo Alex - 18mo Jack - born 2/23/12 at 20w due to ruptured uterus (previa and accreta resulting in hysterectomy) He only lived here on Earth for an hour, but he will live in our hearts forever. m/c #1: sept '09, m/c #2: july '10

    I have heard this, too.  My doctor even told me that she got pregnant the cycle after her m/c.
