What have you eaten today?

Today's a good day for me so far!

Breakfast was a bowl of Kashi cereal

Lunch 2 leftover chicken tacos and a gingerale

 if all goes well, dinner will be a stir fry (pork, broccoli and mushroom) over rice.

  • So far I've been very good.  Oatmeal, wheat thins, turkey sandwich.  Now let's see how the rest of the day goes....

  • A donut and a salad leftover from Monday night that I bought but wasn't interested in when I got home. Oh and some chips that were in the breakroom.
  • 1. Bowl of raisen bran cereal for breakfast

    2. Jimmy Johns veggie sandwich for lunch

    3. about to have some salt and vinegar chips for a snack or an apple.

    4. Dinner just a sandwich and chips and fruit.

    I need to eat better but I swear none of the healthy stuff is appealing. I try and choke it down but ugh I can only do so much.

  • I wish I could eat just three meals, I am STARVING all day long! So far I have had a bowl of Vanilla granola cereal, a banana, an apple nutrigrain bar and a string cheese. It's only 11am here...

    Lunch - Baked Potato with cheese

    Dinner - Prob White Rice.....night is hard for me to eat

  • I've had too much.  I've been extremely hungry with this pregnancy so far and it's scaring me.  I've had the following so far...

    6:30 am - Big bowl of raisin bran with skim

    9:00 am - egg cheese and Canadian bacon on English muffin.

    11:00 am - full size 3 Musketeer bar

    12:30 pm - grilled cheese with pickles and almost a whole can of veggie soup

    2:00 pm - mini cheesecake 

    and I'm still hungry!!!   I'm going to be huge!

  • Breakfast- Egg whites with lots of cheese and applesauce

    Snack- Crackers, tootsie roll

    Lunch- Chicken Noodle Soup, Jell-o, peaches, strawberries, string cheese

  • I've had an awful carb overload day :(  I had a Panera everything bagel w/ cream cheese becuase we have NOTHING to eat at home, then my mgr had a meeting and I offered to go pick up lunch (free lunch for me!).  Of course they wanted from a sub place and the only hot sub was Cheesesteak.  So i had a cheesesteak with chips.  I feel disgusting and exhausted now and was just told my boss' boss' boss' admin just quit and I will be filling in for her until they find a replacement.  My DH's beloved boss is also moving positions, bad work day for both of us.  Rant off.

  • Hmm.... So far?

    1 piece of toast with pb&j
    Banana strawberry smoothie
    2 teas (one decaf)
    1/2 orange pepper
    spaghetti
    yogurt
    about to eat some fruit salad and dig into my gingerale
    granola bar and juice for snack
    probably grilled cheese for dinner.

     

  • Breakfast: 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites, 2 pieces of cheese, broccoli, whole wheat bagel, orange juice
    Breakfast is the only meal I can eat a ton of lately... and it sustains me from 8am-ish til about 2pm. 

    Lunch: 3/4 cup (maybe) of angel hair pasta and 3 oz of meatballs, lemonade (I can't get enough lemonade)

  • Started the day with a homeade hot pocket made with ham/cheese and crescent roll dough (that way the ham was cooked again)

    lunch was a can fo vegetable beef soup and I just had a chocolate choco chip cookie.

    I really the the protein in the morning kept the hunger and nausea at bay today

  • Hot chocolate & peaches for breakfast

    Peanut Butter granola bar for snack

    Lunch - just ordered red curry for pick up!

    And, LOTS of water!

  • Breakfast: Hardees country potatoes and a egg & cheese biscuit

    Snack: String cheese

    Lunch: Sushi (fried) with Edamame (yum!)

    Snack: Pumpkin Gooey Bar (double yum!)

    Dinner will probably be Peas & Dumplings soup and a Chicken Salad sandwich

    Today will not be the healthiest day of eating for me! :)

  • Bowl of cereal and milk for breakfast

    1/2 a banana which made me sick

    then I was starving so I ate the only thing I had - a small bag of peanut M&Ms

    still starving and there was free pizza - so 2 slices for me

    and will probably eat some cheese or something for a snack.

    dinner is hard for me so I try to just snack here and there.

     before I got up: 1 gluten-free granola bar

    At work: dry Krispix cereal

    Lunch: monte cristo sandwich, a few chocolate "coins" & raspberries

     Hmmm. It seemed like I ate a lot more..maybe that's just the nausea tricking me into thinking I ate like a pig today!

    lunch was oreos and cheez its. Yeah baby! It was the only thing that sounded reasonable at the time. I've felt so horrible today I didn't care.

    Lunch- salad with grilled chicken

    Dinner is going to be lasagna.  I made a gorgeous, extremely rich cheesecake with blueberry topping for my Dad's birthday, which I will be sitting out on. :(

    ETA: I'll probably have a snack this afternoon.  Maybe a piece of fruit.

  • just the title of this post made me sick and then after the first couple entries I had to reply that other's peoples food is not a good thing to think about right now! ;)
  • For breakfast I had some frosted mini wheats.  For lunch i had a little bit of ziti, som italian wedding soup, and some lite lemon yogurt.

     For dinner, we will be having sloppy joes (currently in the crockpot right now) with steak fries and steamed veggies.  Yum!

    I have been getting hungry later on at night, so instead of munching on junk, I bought some frozen fruit to make smoothies with so I'm going to give that a whirl later on in the evening.

    Lunch: pepperoni pizza pocket and water

    umm, no wonder I'm feeling hungry

  • Breakfest: special k yogurt and fruite with 2% milk

     Snack: banana

    lunch: chicken salad on whole wheat toast with lettuce and tomato.  Had a bag of baked lays with that.

    Snack: apple

    Dinner:  chicken, sweet pototoe, broccolli

    Snack: still debating

    I've had a glass of V8, small glass of pineapple juice, two eggs with a slice of cheese and whole grain toast.

    For a snack, I had 15 almonds and natural apple sauce....

    The funny thing about me is I'm a sugar FREAK...well, normally; however, in the last week and a half, I have not craved sugar (I'm talking gummy bears, sprees, etc) at all....the candy isle doesn't even phase me...weird, weird, weird. BUT, it's a good thing!

  • Cheddar cheese "Cup 'O Soup", & last night's dinner leftovers: mashed potatos, corn, cream of mushroom chicken.

  • I love how everyone whos had a yogurt and toast this morning, grilled chicken salad for lunch and anything not in a frozen plastic tray for dinner has said they haven't eaten very healthy today haha.

    For me:

    Breakfast: 3 bites of Cinnamon toast Crunch, 2 bites of scrambled eggs

  • My m/s decided to return. So I have choked down a little bit of cottage cheese and some applesauce and two gulps of water. Ugh.

  • Today has been a good day. I took a m/s pill for the 1st time and it seems to be working. I've had a pumpkin bagel with raspberry cream cheese for breakfast and a yogurt so far.

    For me yesterday:

    Breakfast: 3 bites of Cinnamon toast Crunch, 2 bites of scrambled eggs

    Snack: Sunny D juice

    Lunch: Easy Mac, brownie, and a coke

    Snack: Gatorade

    Dinner: 2 McDonalds chicken nuggets and an apple

    It's amazing I've actually lost about 7 lbs. I know I should be eating healthier and beleive me I try but with the nausea that never ends I can't even think about food without getting sick, so when I'm not feeling like I'm about to throw up I try and grab whatevers closest so I can get at least some food down. And I take B6 vitamins, drink ginger beer and eat crackers before getting out of bed.

     

     

  • I always seem to be hungry, so as of 3pm today I've had

    Breakfast: All Bran Strawberry Medley cereal w/ skim milk, OJ, 1/2 a grapefruit, small handful of walnuts

    Morning snack(s): chocolate chip granola bar, 2 clementines, pear fruit cup

    Lunch: Cheesy potato soup, wheat roll, apple, slice of pumpkin bread

    Afternoon snack: yogurt w/ granola

    Dinner will probably be leftover pizza and some veggies, more pumpkin bread for dessert.

    I really need to start getting in more protein, but its hard!  I don't eat a ton of meat and I'm trying to avoid the lunchmeats when possible.
