We had a company meeting today and the speaker was making a joke about it "taking 2 to make a baby, but a village to build a good product". This made me smirk and say to my colleague (who knows about our IF) "Really? I seem to remember when my baby was being "made" there were 4 of us in the room." (well, technically a lot more since we did IVF and all, but you get the point)
Thank you dude, for lame-a$$ comments!
Re: "It takes 2 to make a baby." Really?
I'm glad you had someone who can understand for you to turn too or it would have been hard holding that in, at least for me! "In fact, sir, it took 6 people in my son's case!" Ha!
My OB helped me for a couple days during my BFP cycle as I was between REs, and he hosted a evening social last week for parents at our preschool. (I was shocked when I saw who was hosting it, LOL!) Suffice it to say, I was careful NOT to say he helped create my child! I'm so used to talking about IF that that type of comment wouldn't confuse me, but I pictured potential looks on others' faces and I just let it rest, hee hee.
