Leave-In conditioner for curly (not wet/damp) hair

We do DD's bath at night before bed so we towel dry her hair well before bed and usually don't bother putting any after-shampoo product in because by morning her hair is crazy no matter what. Would be ideal to find a product that will get her curls back in shape in the AMs w/o me having to always put her in pigtails just to do quick errands. .......and w/o having to have her leave the house with wet hair.

As a reference point, the JJ detangler does nothing for her once her hair dries. I still have to put her hair up with that stuff, plus I have to use quite a bit so her hair looks wet and I don't like bringing her out these days w/cold wet hair.

Her curls are soft, shiny and boingy all around except the top, where they always look dry and a bit frizzy, not really curling up at all so if I don't do her hair she looks unkept and neglected lol.

  • bed head "curls rock".

    its great.

also, wash her hair at night maybe every 3 days (with adult curl shampoo)? (unless dirty) and then the other days, wash with conditioner.

every morning re-wet her hair and then put in the curls rock.

  • Carol's Daughter leave-in spray conditioner is wonderful!  I like the Black Vanilla.
  • You could maybe try the Frizz Ease Shine Spray.  It's like the silicone stuff but in a spray form.  Run your fingers through and voila!  No more frizz.
