Am I the only one without a Blue-Ray player?

I have no desire to get one, I might be forced to when redbox starts spitting out Blue-Ray discs though.

    nope, you are not alone. the only way we will get one is if they replace regular dvds with them lol.

    i got one for xmas from my brother last year and to tell you the truth...if I didn't have one i would be fine! lol I dont even buy blue ray dvds! it does have a good picture but I dont see that much of a difference.

    I don't have one!! And it will take a lot for me to get one...it was the same way with the VCR. It wasn't until they literally stopped making VHS tapes that I finally succumbed. I'm not getting rid of all my DVD's just so I can see slightly better quality on my cheesy romantic comedies. :)

    FWIW - I still have a VCR hooked up to 3 of the 5 TVs in my house. I'm a dinosaur like that! :)

    You're not alone. We don't plan on buying one unless they phase out dvd's like they did vhs'. Until then, we'll stick with our good 'ole dvd player lol.

    We want to eventually upgrade our entertainment set-up (we still have a big tube TV) and get a blue ray player as part of it, but that's a long way off.  I'm not looking forward to starting our movie collection over again.
