Sex since BFP?

My doctor gave it the go ahead, but I'm still a little nervous about having sex, at least until I see a heartbeat in the ultrasound... DH hasn't been pressuring me at all, which is nice, but I'm starting to feel like a negligent wife. Anyone else facing this? Anyone have sex since the BFP and have spotting afterwards? (I'm a bit nervous about that too). TIA!

    We haven't had sex since the BFP.  I'm nervous too!  I haven't had my first appointment yet so maybe I will feel fine after that.  I know that its safe, but it still feels weird.

    We've had sex a handful of times (when I'm awake & not feeling too bloated, that is) both before & after our first u/s & everything's been fine.  No spotting at all.

    We've had sex several times - maybe twice a week. No spotting or discomfort.

    It's only been 2-ish weeks since our BFP and last week we finally had sex and it was a a-mazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz-iiiiiiiiiing....just saying. I think the pressure and stress of "let's make a baby" is gone so we just enjoyed the hell out of it!

    weve had sex 3 times in a month! I have no desire to! it is safe but i have heard that mens sperm can make the uterus contract.Have him pull out or use a condom.

    We havent had sex since the BFP, but we did it the day before the BFP, which was 2 days after my missed period. (Sorry --that's kinda confusing). Everything was fine, felt fine, etc. This is one thing I'm actually not worried about.

    We have also had sex 1 or 2 times a week since my bfp. I have had no spotting issues at all.  Just take it easy the first couple times, until you start to feel a little better about it.

    Our sex life is definately diminishing.  I'm just too tired to bother.  I had some cramping after sex one night that kinda freaked me out, but all was well.  I think we've had sex 3 times since BFP.  What a sex pot I am!

    Due to my constant nausea and overall ickiness, we finally just started having sex again a few weeks ago. We were both terrified that I would bleed or cramp, but I didnt have either!

    We have.  As long as you aren't on pelvic rest or under Doc's orders not to it's fine.  Sometimes you just feel too gross in 1st tri and it's the last thing on your mind - - but it's completely safe.

    We have sex daily... I did have to "rest" for a week because I have bleeding afterwards one time, but since then it has been fine.  I think pregnant sex is, like someone else said, AMAZING!

    If its not a high risk pregnancy, I highly advocate that you go for it! Just be sure you get satisfied...pregnancy sex is good!

    Nope, totally freaked about it. I know in my head it is perfectly safe, but I have been so crampy, it just scares me! I want to wait to see the HB in another week or so, then we will go ahead!

    DH was out of town for almost a month, so we obviously weren't having sex.

    We've had sex daily since he got back on Monday.  The baby will be fine.

    we had  sex for the first time saturday morning, it was awful.  I was so worried the whole time that it would be too rough and I would bleed.  I never bled afterwords so I'm hoping next time I will be more relaxed.  I swear it also feels different but that could have been because I was so stressed I was not "ready" at all.

    Yeah...I was thinking the same thing.

     If you don't feel sick then by all means go have sex!!! If it didn't make me nauseous to move like that then I would definitely be doing it.

    We have just kept trucking along like we normally would. Everything is fine so far, I didn't refrain from sex with my first either, I don't really see the point unless you are too sick or you are told not to.

    we've had sex probably 6 times since BFP & never any spotting or cramping, thank goodness.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    We have a few times (when m/s isn't getting in the way), no spotting and its been GREAT sex. I haven't been to the Dr yet, I don't go until next week, far too long to wait to have sex.  If the Dr gave the go ahead it should be fine.  Seriously, I love pregnant sex...at the moment, I am sure soon everything will move and I'll get big and it won't be as fab, so I'm enjoying it for now :-)

    no joke. Pregnant sex is AWESOME!

    I had a week of spotting and was on pelvic rest. After I went to the doc she assured me that all was well and we could have sex. It has been nonstop since then. I have spotted a few times after sex but that is normal when pregnant. The baby will be FINE.

    I agree with the PP's we stopped until we got the okay from the doctor, I am glad she said we were fine to do it, pg sex is OuTsTaDiNg!  We have it a few times a week, biggest thing is I'm tired all the time.

    Once. I was scared about spotting but had none. Now I'm away from DH for two weeks so I really owe him when I get home.

    We have had sex once.  I think because there are no outward signs of baby, things are ok.  Once I start showing, I think he'll be nervous about doing something.  That will absolutely be one thing that I bring up at the first midwife appointment!

    We've had sex probably 3 or 4 times since the BFP.  No spotting. :)

    And we also did it during the 2ww, even the all important 7-10 DPO.
