I really did not like the new Sesame Street

It was so different from the traditional Sesame's that I just had a hard time watching it.  I didn't like Murray's new role and everything seemed to be flashing on the screen.  It gave me a headache.  I also did not like Abby's Flying school.  I'm disappointed in Sesame and feel like they sold out.  He doesn't get to watch many shows but I always thought I could rely on Sesame.  I'm bummed.  We'll see if tomorrow's is better.

    I completely agree.  I miss Murry had a Little Lamb, too.  It's the only show that I turn on for DD, but now I'm thinking I might wait until it's time for Elmo's World before I turn it on.

    I had AWFUL morning sickness the other day that I turned on the TV for Lydia... it was the first time I have turned it on for her and I put Sesame Street on and turned it off 5 mins later because it sucked so bad! I love old school Sesame Street. :(

    This makes me so sad to hear!  Sesame is the only TV DD watches. 

    Maybe you could get your (absolutely adorable!) son some Elmo DVDs for Christmas.  DD loves hers.

    I had been looking forward to it for the last month, and was greatly disappointed with this new episode today.  Big Bummer. And Abby's flying school was soooo long my DS lost interest.

    I've only watched it twice since DS was born, but I didn't like it either. I thought some channel (possibly Sprout?) used to show old episodes of Sesame Street, but I don't think they do anymore. DS wasn't interested in it at all, and that's fine with me!

    I do not care for the new episodes.  DD and I watch Sprout, which plays all the older episodes.  It's much better in my opinion :)

    I also love the older episodes! I missed the original beginning of the opening song too

     They sure do :) Every day at 5 am and 1 PM where I am, we DVR it :)  I like it so much better than the new ones :)
