Babies: 9 - 12 Months

what is your OCD habit?

I have to put my deodorant on with the same number of strokes each time and in the same order.

I can't go to bed unless the pillows on the couch are straightened.

my husband checks his alarm clock at least 5x before turning off the light.

  • Everything has to be "even."  I have to do things the same number of times with each hand or foot, etc.  I also like even numbers.  Like if I am stopping the microwave before the timer goes off, I wait to stop it when the time is at an even number.

I make fun of DH because when he puts gas in our cars he clicks the gas cap 5 times when he closes it. He doesn't realize that he does it though.

I do the EXACT same thing with deodorant!  Weird.

MH double checks every freaking lock a million times before we go to bed/leave the house/get out of the car.

I thought I was the only one!!! Good to know I'm not alone. I hate, hate, hate being late!

  • I cannot go to sleep in a bed that hasn't been made.  Weird, since the moment I get in it, it gets messed up - but I seriously have to get in a nicely made bed at night.

  • When playing pool I have to do 7 line up strokes on the break... every time. Does that count?
  • My DH does the same thing with his alarm clock before he goes to bed, checks it like 5 times, (he also sets his cell alarm too... just in case - LOL). Whenever I use a calculator and I need to clear the number I have to hit the clear button about 10 times before I will start the next problem just to make sure the number isn't still there so it doesn't mess up my next problem... weird, i know!
