I feel like superwoman

I got $80 worth of groceries today for $25!! I cannot explain how it feels to get this much food for so little! Between today and yesterday at Kroger triples days, I got $180 worth of groceries for $75! That is less than I usually spend every week and this is for about 3/4 months worth of stuff!

  • Wow, that's awesome!  What was your best deal(s)?  In my area, Harris Teeter and Shoppers have been doing triple coupons for the past week, and I've made a few trips.  I have gotten some great deals, but I have also bought a few things just because they were SUPER cheap, and not because we needed them (or will even use them).  I figure I will fill up the food drive bag that the Boy Scouts are collecting this weekend with all of the items I bought that we won't use.  Triple couponing is fun!  It's almost like a game.  :-) (My best deal was two FREE boxes of Scotties tissues.  They were on sale 10/$10, and I used a coupon (that was tripled).)

  • You SHOULD feel like superwoman.  Nice job!
  • My best deal, though I got LOTS of things free, was probably 2 packs of Duracell batteries. Figure it will come in handy for Christmas!

    I got some others free:

6 packs of Martha White muffin mix

4 packs of McCormick gravy mix

    4 cans Carnation Evap milk

    2 boxes of Lean Pockets

    I can't remember them all!
