Got Seasonal Flu Shot today :-(

in 1st Trimester

And my arm really hurts and now I feel weird not sure if it's all mental but belly is rumbling and I hope the baby is ok........my OBGYN and primary insisted I get the flu shot and have put me on wait list for H1N1.

I am 12weeks pregnant this week and hope baby and I are ok with this stupid shot.........

    My arm really hurt, too, after the seasonal one.  Maybe try rubbing it or putting something on it that feels good (ice, etc.)?  Try not to get nervous, though.  Many people get these vaccines and have no major side effects so try to focus your thoughts on that.

    I know that opinions differ on the flu shot. I personally chose to get vaccinated. Women who are pregnant have lowered immune systems so I chose to be pro-active and vaccinate myself in the hopes I wouldn't get the flu.

    If it makes you feel any better, I got the flu shot last year and I have a healthy 7 month old now :)
