All that music talk made me think of the 3 I went to...10th, 11th and 12th. 11th being the best! So many great memories.

And so many bad dancers. Myself included.

I never went. My mom didn't push the issue because she didn't want to have to buy me a dress and do the hair appointment and all of that. Looking back now, I really wish I would have gone to at least 1. I didn't go to winter formals either.

My husband didn't go to his high school prom, either. He said that now he wishes he had. I bought all my dresses myself since my parents didn't want to buy one...lol.

Yes. I went to 3 proms and 3 winter formals, plus the sadie hawkins..etc. We didn't have a homecoming dance though.

I went to 6. I was in 4-h and had a lot of out of town farm friends. And I went all 4 years of high school.

I only went to my jr prom at the begging request of my mother. I ditched my date after 15 mins, danced a little with the girls and went home w/in 1 hr. It's not as mean as it sounds. My date and I really didn't like each other at all. lol

I went to my senior prom. I had my wisdom teeth out the morning of my junior prom...so my boyfriend took my former best friend, his ex-girlfriend, instead. That was charming.

I went sophomore year with friends, junior year with my boyfriend, and senior year I left that same boyfriend home so I could actually go with friends and have a good time (he was 2 years older and not from our school, so he didn't know anyone anyway). None of my proms were all that fun.

Yes, I went to my junior prom my junior year, and the senior prom both my junior and senior year. Junior year I had a bfriend that I went with and senior year I went with a good friend.

How many of you dated your DHs in high school? I don't know anyone who has married a high school boyfriend IRL.

I went freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I only had a date for my freshman year and went with friends for the others. Way more fun.

ETA: I met my DH a month or so before my junior prom, and we started dating four months after.

I went to my junior prom, but not my senior. My BF and I broke up about a month before prom and he was able to snag a date and I wasn't. I couldn't face him or his date that night, so I didn't go. I wasn't big on formals anyway, but my mom was upset that the dress went to waste.

I went to my senior prom with my DH (BF at the time). I also went to my junior prom with a friend and a different school's senior prom of two of my other guys friends my sophomore and junior year.
