Fasting for the 1 hour?

So my 1 hour was a non fasting glucose test, but while I was in there waiting for my hour to be up there was another 3 pregnant ladies doing the 1 hour. 2 had to fast and the other 1 like me didn't. I thought nobody fasted for the 1 hour just the 3 hour. So now I am confused.

Did you fast for you 1 hour?

I take mine in a couple weeks and the info they gave me said fasting was not required. The nurse said just don't eat a big meal beforehand or have a candy bar or anything like that. I'm sure you're okay.

I haven't taken mine yet, but I specifically asked the nurse if I needed to fast and she said no. Then I read the bottle, and it said to fast for 12 hours, so I'm not really sure what to do.

I saw that too. What I did was go when i woke up and on an empty stomach. My mom though being the silly women she is tried to convince me to come eat her homemade cinnamon rolls before the test Hmm

I was told not to fast, but I only at a small breakfast since my test was scheduled so early in the morning.

I did for the first pregnancy, but it was in the morning. I am doing it in the afternoon for this one, but my doctor said it's not necessary to fast. So we'll see how that goes!

I was told to go in the morning and to only have some dry toast and water for breakfast if I needed to eat something. I'm going for mine later this week.
