Moms of 2... question about car seats

Where do you have your car seats?  Right now DS is behind the passenger seat, I'm not sure where to put the baby when he arrives.  I know the middle is safest but I am worried about having them right next to eachother, I definitely think Connor will mess with the baby while we are driving.

    Right now, my son is on the passenger side.  When the newborn arrives, my oldest will move behind the drivers side, and the newborn will be behind the passenger.  My seat has a curve in the center, so the carseat doesn't install securely in the center.

    We have Avery behind the driver seat and Addison behind the passenger seat.  Addison is still in her infant carrier seat and it was too hard getting her in and out with it right up against her sister's convertible seat.  Soon Addison will be moving to a convertible but we will probably keep them in the same spots.

    How are you feeling?  It has been a while since we've see you.  I just can't seem to get out of the house in the morning for meet ups because nap schedules are so crazy in my house right now!  You are getting so close to meeting your new little boy.  What a great gift for the holidays!!!  Hope you are still sleeping okay and not too uncomfortable.  Your new pic of Connor is crazy!  He looks so much older!

    Mia is behind the passenger seat and Nick is in the middle, but I know it depends a lot on the seats you have and you car's back seat how they all puzzle together. I was really surprised that both his infant seat and now his convertible both fit right next to hers! Car-set.org has TONS of posts that are searchable is that a word??) and lots of the people on there had awesome advice on the safety vs. positioning of seats and options and pictures in certain cars, etc.

    Claire is behind the driver's seat and Anna is behind the passenger seat. I don't think there is enough room in my car to have them right next to each other.

    That's exactly how we did things.  Eloise is behind the driver since she faces forward, and Maddy is behind passenger.  It was mostly a space issue.  A rear-facing car seat behind the driver side didn't leave much room for my husband, when he was the driver.
