I went in for the CVS today. They started with an u/s and in the process noticed that the nuchal fold had shrunk. A lot! It had been 4.2 mm and is now 0.8 mm (completely normal). We decided not to go through with the test since it can be risky. Instead we just had them do an official NT scan with the bloodwork.
It's crazy, if I had not had that spotting a few weeks ago we never would have even known about this risk. We're still getting some extra u/s later on and a fetal echo, but I feel so much more confident that our baby is healthy. All the other measurements were perfect.
Thanks for all your support and prayers over these past weeks. And Praise God!
