too big for Bjorn, hates the Ergo
DS absolutely hates the Ergo carrier. I am so sad because I know this is one he could grow with, and I know it's just the best one all around. He absolutely loved the Bjorn, but he has reached the max weight and I am nervous to put him in it. Is it silly to invest in another carrier at this point? He loves to be "worn" and is not a big fan of the stroller. Is there any other carrier where he can face forward? I know I saw a woman with another version of the Ergo that was a different material and she could hold her baby on the side....she said it was the Ergo sport, but I'm not finding that one online. Anyone know which one this is, or another one that may work?

Sorry - hope you find one that works better. I've heard great things about the Ergo Sport, though!
I have an Ergo, and not the Sport and it can be worn on the side, back and front. This site will tell you how to do all sorts of carries with your Ergo:

All ergos can be worn on the hip. It's not just the sport. Have you tried the back carry? DS likes that because he can look around.
You really don't want a carry that faces outat this point because of the center of gravity. It gets really uncomfortable. That is why the Ergo only faces in.
