Dark Vertical Line on Belly

Tell me again what that's called and what it means?  I have one faintly starting to appear.  And if any of you remember a post I made a couple of weeks ago, I also have a strange horizontal pink line on my tummy.  Now I'm just starting to look like a positive pregnancy test.  I think I'm a freak of nature.

    Linea negra - translated means black line.  It's just caused by hormones and should disappear within a few months of delivery.  I've had it since week 10 or so and it's just gotten darker.

    Yeah, I can't explain the horizontal one.  It's just there on my fair-skinned little body and below it my skin is pink.  It's just one of those great mysteries that no one has explained to me yet and I keep forgetting to bring up at appointments.  Although there were two other girls experiencing something similar and we just agreed it was stretching skin.  Not sure.

    Definitely not from my pants.  I thoght that at first, but it's there when I first wake up too and I sleep in a t-shirt and undies.  It's just there all the time.

    This.  The Linea Negra is always there even pre-pregnancy but it's so light that you could not see it before - but our hormones causes it to apear darker.
