I am having trouble finding a bedding set that I like. I want to paint Soph's spot a light spring type green and I can't seem to find a bedding set I am in love with. I had one picked out on our registry but I am having second thoughts on it. Anyone else?

Honestly hated everything that we were finding online. So we decided to go to Joann and pick fabric and have someone make the bumper and skirt. We are absolutely in love with the fabrics and cannot wait to see the completed project. This might be something you could consider.

That was SO me. I did a buttercup yellow with Lilac. I had intended on doing a beach theme... but all I could find in the color theme I wanted was a dragonfly set... I dont love it, but I do love the colors.

Google JO-JO Designs. They're WAY cheaper (I got 13 pieces for 120) and have different color combinations than i could find anywhere else. I know my set comes in a spring green & yellow

See link - -that is our bedding. We painted walls a beautiful spring green, and the ceiling a light pink and topped it off with a gorgeous crystal and gold light fixture!! All of our accents will be pink - - lamp, laundry basket, baskets, etc... It's beautiful, I'm pleased with how it is turning out! Now all we need is the crib. LOL

a friend of mine due the same time as me was having this issue, an issue with the cost of baby bedding, along with the fact that she was hoping to re-use bedding for future babies regardless of their gender but didn't like the gender neutral sets she was seeing. Her solution - she is getting REALLY plain and neutral bedding and then custom making curtains for this baby. Plus she will have lots of fun with wall decor and accessories. Then she will be able to re-use bedding for the next baby regardless of gender and make them their own custom curtain/accessory set. I thought it was pretty darn cute!

I had a lot of fun at nurserydepot.com and I found a lot of stuff I thought was adorable, and a lot of the stuff there would work with your colors.

Pottery Barn Kids has an ADOREABLE fairy themed set. I don't see it online (of course) so it is either really new and not on there yet or being discontinued so you would have to go the stores to get it. It made me melt...:)
