This is my DD's name. We pronounce it Core-INN. When I was researching names, this is what I found out as I originally was going to spell it Corrine. Corrine is Cor-reene as a pp said (like Irene). Corinne has the -inn sound on the end.
Well, I'm the weird one! This is my name, and we pronounce it Cor-een (like Irene). It is the French pronunciation, but I tell you, I hated my mom for it when I was in middle school! Then I decided I liked it, cause no one else had it.

But I believe it is supposed to be pronounced Cor een. At least I take care of someone with this name and she is forever having to correct me, now when I go in to her room I'm all tongue tied trying to remember how to say her name.
Re: How would you say the name spelled "Corinne"
Cor-inn. or more like cah-rinn, actually.

But this is my aunt's name and we say "crin" lol

Yeah, took me some getting used to, but now that's how I read the name whenever I see it-she corrupted it for me!

Well after sitting her saying this all morning, I say it both ways! Cah-rin if I am saying it fast and Core-in if slow.
This is my sister's name. We pronounce it "Cor-REEN".
Ca rin
But I believe it is supposed to be pronounced Cor een. At least I take care of someone with this name and she is forever having to correct me, now when I go in to her room I'm all tongue tied trying to remember how to say her name.
