Had my NT scan today

in 1st Trimester

and everything looks good!  There is a nasal bone, and all of the measurements were good.  It was so crazy to see an actual little baby, and not just a blob!  I got pictures of hands, feet, face, etc.  It was so exciting!! 

The tech even got an in-between the legs shot, and told me it might be a boy!  She said it's too early to tell and sometimes girls will be swollen, so she couldn't give me a definite answer, but it looks like there's a little something down there!  DH is thrilled, he's dying for a boy first.

    That's so exciting.  I know how relieved I was to see that everything looked, "good!"  Or as good as things could look this early.

    So glad to hear you had an awesome appt!!!!  I remember my tech explaining to me at 14 weeks, both girls and boys have what "looks" like a boy part, but the angle of the part is what they guess by. (technically have no idea what the actual thing is since they both have it...ha) Our tech said it was a girl at 14 weeks and was right!  Are you going to find out at 20 weeks?

    It's the Nuchal Translucency scan that measures probability of Down Syndrome and the Trisomies - 13 and 18.

    We had ours today too. Wasn't it amazing? LO was waving at us and I was amazed by the spine and seeing the hemispheres in the brain! Congrats on seeing baby!

    Mine is in 2 weeks!  Now I'm really excited.  I didn't know you get to see that much!
