So I have yet to have my first appt yet and so of course have not heard the heartbeat yet and I am so deathly afraid I'm gonna get there and they are gonna tell me there isnt one. I'm hormonal and worry about everything these days. I wish I could just have my first appointment already so I can be reassured things are fine.

Looking at your ticker, you are probably sooooo close to your 1st appt. I know exactly how you feel & know that there aren't many words to make it feel ok. Just try to think positively and have faith that everything is perfect!

I'm crazy cause I welcome pregnancy symptoms because they are almost reassuring in a way... yes i know im wierd..... i freaked out cause my boobs dont hurt anymore!

Oh I was just about to post something similar! I was thinking I wish I had a fast forward button - I hate to wish life away but I am so anxious to know if everything is ok in there. It's so early for me so I just need to relax but dang, it's hard! I hope time passes quickly for you!

I got to see the HB at 7 weeks, but how quickly I started worrying again- I barely have any symptoms and totally fear that my next apt (in 6 days) will be bad news.

I know how you feel! My 2nd appt is Friday and I"m nervous all over again that they're going to say that there isn't a heartbeat anymore. I don't know if this will ever go away! Maybe when I can feel the baby move I'll feel better.

I worried about this non-stop! Trust me, the worry doesn't go way after you hear the heartbeat. I didn't start feeling really good about this pregnancy until about 15 weeks.

Yes my OB's office is supposed to call me tomorrow to set up an appt for my inital blood work and all- not sure if this will include dopplar or US, gonna ask so DH can be there. Too bad home doplars suck....

I feel the same way, already worrying about my baby. I know theres more worrying to come, ready to hear the Dr to say he or she is fine. So happy to be pregnant with my 1st. Hang in there ladys im in the same boat with you.

Real nice to have other ladies feel the same way. I don't remember being this way with DD. Course that was 7 years ago and I was 23.

Trust me I am in the same boat! My first appt isn't till the 19th and i am already thinking of moving to a new DR! That is crazy isn't it!

I'm so relieved to hear I'm not the only one!! I even began to think something was wrong because I thought that something was wrong...ugh!! My first appt isn't until the 23rd and that day just cannot come soon enough!! I try to calm myself down, because I am not normally a worrier, but my goodness, I already love this little baby SO much.....

I'm so glad you wrote this. I was afraid that if I did that I'd get the usual, "don't worry...blah, blah blah" This is my first and I'm so afraid of the same things. I've never done this before so how do I know, right? I've read too much about blighted ovum too and can't help but think that all these VERY minor symptoms are just for an empty sack (I really don't mean any disrespect to any ladies who have gone through m/c. It's just so absolutely sad and horrible. I really feel for them and their losses. The thought of losing a child is just incomprehensable to me) My appointment isn't till Dec 10!

I worry about this exact same thing. I had a "viability" ultrasound (due to irregular periods) at 6 weeks, 2 days, so I was able to see the heartbeat (too faint to hear).

I felt good for exactly...one day. Then I started to worry again.

I have an appt. with the nurse tomorrow and I'm going to beg for a 12 week ultrasound. The suspense of the first trimester has been BRUTAL.

I wish I could go to sleep and wake up a few months from now when I can feel a healthy baby moving around.

Im the same way! I have my first appointment today...only symptom that I do have now (out of the very mild ones i DID have) is no appetite. I am sure everything is fine but im glad im not alone on that one!

I feel the exact same way. I dont go till Nov 25th i'll be 8 weeks, and thats just to get blood work and history I think, i'm going to a new OB. I'm going to beg for an us soon since my last was a mc i just want to know the little one is doing ok and has a good strong hb I think i might go insane if they make me wait till 12 weeks!

I hear you, my first apointment for just the blood work and history isn't until December 3rd. It seems like such a long time away, especially since I rarely have had any symptoms.

DH and I had a miscarriage in August @ nine weeks. Happily, I got a BFP in October, but my first ultrasound is today and my lack of symptoms is making me crazy. I almost feel guilty because I am going into it thinking that the pregnancy isn't viable. I've had two HCG and progesterone blood tests and both came out fine. I think we all are just so excited at the prospect and it is such a amazing thing, that we get a little crazy until we know everything is okay. It is hard to have so little control over something that is going on inside YOUR body.
